“Is It Possible for a Writer to Be Objective?” by Pankaj Mishra in New York Times: “Literary novelists…have revealed that individual selves…are...plural.”

At least one writer in The New York Times Book Review seems to agree with this blog that many people, especially novelists, are plural; that is, have a normal version of multiple personality.
