Presidents and Multiple Personality: Before Trump’s puzzling changeability (hair color, etc.), Bill Clinton had “Saturday night Bill” and “Sunday morning Bill”

Today’s New York Times column by Maureen Dowd revives the popular joke, smear, or insight that there are two Bill Clintons: “Saturday night Bill” (his Mr. Hyde, responsible for sexual abuses) and “Sunday morning Bill” (his good Dr. Jekyll personality).

Since neither I nor anyone else has interviewed either president with relevant questions, I have no way of knowing whether either of them has multiple personality.

But Trump is not the only president to inspire speculation.
