“My Year of Rest and Relaxation” by Ottessa Moshfegh (post 2): Other reviews mention protagonist is nameless, but omit dissociative fugues

A second New York Times review of this book, like other reviews I see online, mentions that the protagonist is nameless, but omits that she has dissociative fugues (typical of multiple personality).

Namelessness may be a clue to multiple personality, because, unlike regular life, namelessness is common among alternate personalities.

Search “nameless” and “dissociative fugue” in this blog for previous posts on these recurring topics.

None of the reviews I’ve seen comments on the fact that the protagonist is blonde, but the woman on the front cover is brunette. I don’t know if that is significant.
