“Most people hear an inner voice, recognized as their own, on a daily basis”
I opened this book (1), because of its subtitle, but was stopped by its first sentence, quoted above, since I don’t hear an inner voice, and the book's title refers to psychologist Julian Jaynes’ theory about the cerebral hemispheres, which I have not adopted.
But Platt’s book reinforces the idea that many normal people do hear voices, for some reason (which I argue is multiple personality trait).
